About the role

Procurement Specialist

Reporting to the Procurement Manager; the Procurement Specialist will form a key role in bringing together strategic procurement and framework objectives.

You will have proven experience in strategic procurement and contracts management along with demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity if you are dynamic, self-motivated and driven as you can expand and develop your management skills with the ability to step up in the future to potential management position.

 

Senior Project Manager

Reporting to the Capital Delivery Manager, this role will suit an experienced Project Manager with a proven background, experience and skills in the planning and implementation of infrastructure and maintenance projects or programs of work.

To be successful candidate you will be a dynamic project manager who can manage multiple priorities, use your exceptional time management and organisational skills to coordinate a risk-based approach to your projects or programs of work. Using your exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to deliver a clear message and drive the delivery of successful outcomes on schedule.

 

Capital Delivery Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, Group Assets, the Capital Delivery Manager is a senior leadership position that is vital to the success of all Asset Infrastructure project deliveries. Managing a team of 5, the successful applicant will have demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.

To be successful you will be an expert negotiator and stakeholder manager. You will be an out the box thinker and be experienced providing project / program guidance and support to direct reports. You will be responsible for facilitating growth and change management processes.

 

Working Hours

All positions are Full Time permanent roles working Monday to Friday normal business hours; although we are advertising the Senior Project Manager with 2 opportunities – Permanent Full Time or Part Time/ Job Share if we were to get the right candidates for this.

About the role

Reporting to directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective and timely support, administration, management of infrastructure, systems, networks, and other technologies within both the Corporate and Operational IT environments.

As an experienced Technology Specialist and Systems Administrator who values working in a strong, supportive team environment, the successful candidate will be able to provide demonstrated skills and experience in many of the following key areas:

  • Ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience supporting Operational IT systems such as access control systems, CCTV systems, RFID systems, and other operational technology
  • Experience with Cisco network administration, concepts and fault finding
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop environments (Windows 7 and 10)
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016 systems, IIS, Active Directory & Exchange
  • Demonstrated experience providing IT services to a diverse range of customers

About the role

Team Member:

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader at Flinders Ports you will be required to assist with performing repairs to Flinders Ports Infrastructure in and around the Berths and also repairs, maintenance and minor capital works on Flinders Ports Facilities.

This is a Full Time – Temporary 2 year opportunity and will require the successful applicant to work as a day worker (Monday to Friday) in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement.

Normal operation hours for this position would be Monday to Friday 0730 to 1600 day shift.

The position may also require the successful candidates to travel to intrastate ports when required on an ad-hoc basis as well as drive to various locations in Adelaide (for this you must hold a current drivers licence).

As the Finance Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the finance functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll and ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions and confidential payroll data.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience and success in Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
  • Previous Payroll experience is advantageous

Marine pilots are employed by Flinders Ports to help Captains safely navigate their vessels to the berth once they enter the port’s waters.

This role is a crucial role for Flinders Ports because a marine pilot’s skill and knowledge ensure that ships arriving in port do not run aground, collide with other vessels or run into infrastructure, such as navigation buoys.

All marine pilots are required to hold a Master Class 1 Certificate of Competency.
