Leading South Australian logistics company, Flinders Logistics, is pleased to announce its support of the Prince & King of Gulf Motocross weekend, which also features the SA Women’s Cup.  The event which takes place over Easter in Port Pirie is organised by the Port Pirie Motorcycle Club, and is one of the premier events on the motocross calendar.

“We’re proud to be associated with the club and this event.  It’s our first year as a new business operating in Port Pirie and we’ve come on board in as a silver sponsor,” said Andrew Pellizzari, General Manager, Flinders Logistics.

The two-day event which attracts over 500 participants from South Australia and interstate will see some of Australia’s best riders compete for $10,000 in prize money and the title of “King of the Gulf”.

The event’s feature race, the 2015 King of the Gulf, pits the riders on four, back to back sprint races on motocross trails shaped on unsealed ground.

Motocross is reputed to be one of the most physically demanding forms of motorcycle sport and tests the endurance of both riders and bikes to the limit.

“Flinders Logistics would like to wish the competitors and organisers every success with the Easter Motocross Spectacular,” said Mr Pellizzari.
