Today our GM Group Assets Randall Bonner visited the team at SARDI (South Australian Research & Development Institute) where Flinders Ports is supporting vital research into combating a virus that could potentially destroy the local oyster industry.
The research funding will help to establish a breeding program to find resistant families of Oysters, thereby protecting the industry for the future. It was great to see the research team in full swing to help protect a vital and important industry.
This partnership is a great example of how Flinders Ports is ensuring we are here for the long term and supporting the marine environment for future generations to come.
