How do I register my interest?
To register your interest, create an ‘online applicant account’ by clicking on the position you would like to apply for, then follow the prompts on screen.
You will be asked to create a user login which you can use at any time to log into your ‘online applicant account’. You will be asked a range of questions as part of the application process. You can also upload a copy of your CV, cover letter or copies of your qualification certificates as additional information. This is an optional extra, but it is recommended because it will make it easier for our human resources team to assess your application.
When you register, there may not be any vacancies and it could take some time before a job that matches your requirements comes up. But please keep your contact details and other information up to date. Whenever we have a new role to fill, our first step is to search our database for suitable candidates.

Click on ‘Job Status’ shown on the left-hand side menu, then click ‘Update’. All the information that you supplied when you first applied will be there. Click ‘Continue’ on each page until you reach the part of the application form where new information is needed. Answer the questions, then press ‘Save’ and ‘Exit’.

A division of the Flinders Port Holdings group has offered me a job, what happens next?
Once you receive a job offer, you will need to undertake a medical and pass a drug and alcohol screening test before you start your employment with us.
We will arrange for you to receive a port-user access card and apply for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) on your behalf. You will be required to complete our detailed online inductions which are assessed. All employees need to complete these and renew their inductions every two years.
